🏨 Afternoon tea set for two at The Peninsula Hotel Lobby 🫖 $918 plus service charge The savory items include a variety of finger sandwiches, such as 🐟 smoked salmon with horseradish cream open sandwich, salami and Swiss cheese 🧀 sandwich, 🦐 prawn and egg salad sandwich, and 🥒 traditional cucumber sandwich. The smoked salmon open sandwiches were the best, while the others were relatively ordinary. Additionally, there was a 🥓 bacon and cheese quiche, which honestly had a cheap appearance and taste. The sweet treats included 🍋 lemon meringue tart, 🟥 raspberry cake, 🟢 pistachio mousse, and 🍫 chocolate hazelnut crunch. The first two were relatively more enjoyable. There were also 4 🍇 raisin scones, which were moist inside but overly filling. Overall, the value for money is not high 💸. For the same price, there are better afternoon tea options in Hong Kong.
