Hong Kong Heritage @ Signal Hill Tower

#September2025 🏖️Environment/Facilities: Signal Hill, located at Burma Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui, was transformed into Signal Hill Garden in 1981. The garden houses a signal tower, built by the Hong Kong Observatory in 1907 to house the time ball device originally housed in the nearby roundhouse of the former Marine Police Headquarters. The time ball provided accurate time for seamen and residents daily until it ceased service in 1933 and was designated a monument in 2015. 💞Recommendation: The signal tower boasts a rich classical Baroque style, incorporating Edwardian decorative elements popular at the time.
