As I entered the understated lobby, the atmosphere immediately struck me: quiet, uncluttered, and soothing. Instead of a traditional reception, you’re welcomed by a host who handles check-in casually in a lounge area with tea. 🛏️ Room Experience I stayed in a Studio 70 Harbour View (USD 700–900 per night). The room was enormous by Hong Kong standards — floor-to-ceiling windows revealed a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour. The design is clean and airy: light wood, neutral tones, and soft lighting. The bathroom was the star: a freestanding limestone bathtub right by the window, with bath salts provided for a long soak while watching the city lights. Instead of a minibar with overpriced snacks, The Upper House offers a complimentary in-room pantry — fresh juices, coffee, tea, and even bottles of wine. 🍽️ Dining & Food • Café Gray Deluxe (now replaced with Salisterra) on the 49th floor offers European cuisine with stunning views.
