Chan Yee Hing Braised Goose Specialty Store in San Po Kong

A long-established cold dish shop standing strong in San Po Kong for 60 years, recently opened a brand new branch specializing in braised goose. They focus on braised goose rice and chopped ingredients, with affordable prices. We bought two takeaway boxes to eat at home, and they were very generous with the portions, no complaints at all 🙌🏻👍🏻 You must try the signature braised goose rice. The broth is cooked to a fragrant perfection, and even before opening the box, you can smell the rich aroma of the braising sauce. The goose meat is well marinated, with a good balance of fat and lean. The skin is actually very important too; a little bit of fat makes it extra flavorful 🙊. I also really like their tangy sauce on the goose meat, which adds more layers of flavor. It’s served with a bit of pickled mustard greens on the side, perfect for eating with rice. We also ordered the signature Goose Three Treasures Rice. Besides the braised goose, we love the goose intestines and braised goose liver. I didn’t know how to enjoy goose intestines before, but now I realize how tender and tasty they are. The goose liver is cut into pieces, with a smooth and soft texture that’s quite nice. The rice also comes with a soup, and for an extra $10, you can add some Chinese broccoli.
