Honestly, visiting Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha) was one of the calmest and most beautiful moments of my Hong Kong trip. I took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and wow, it was such a beautiful ride! Watching the city slowly disappear and the mountains get closer was magical. The higher we went, the cooler the air felt, and the fog started to roll in like we were floating right into the sky. If you’re up for it, try the glass floor cabin—it’s a little scary but super fun! 🌫️ Chilly & Misty Weather When I arrived, the weather totally surprised me. It was cool, quiet, and covered in mist. I didn’t expect it to be that cold, so definitely bring a jacket! Sometimes, the Buddha was half hidden by clouds, which made the whole place feel extra peaceful and almost unreal.
