Fighting for my membership! An adventure in the Qantas Lounge

First time flying through Hong Kong Airport, rushing to keep my Qantas membership status! This Qantas lounge, said to be super hard to find, I finally managed to check in～ It’s hidden next to Gate 5, with the entrance right beside the Paul Lafayet dessert shop—easy to miss if you’re not paying attention! But once inside, I was instantly hooked! The space is spacious and comfortable, instantly blocking out the noise of the terminal～ The char siu rice I was craving is only served from 4 PM, and I arrived early, so I was so sad I almost cried😭 Luckily, with my Cathay Pacific Gold Card and oneworld Sapphire membership, I got in smoothly. Turns out, even if you’re flying Cathay business class, without the specific membership you can’t get in! The service here is simply divine💯 The staff saw me sitting alone and proactively reminded me when the food was available. When I didn’t get up, they actually brought me a few dishes to try! So thoughtful! The food selection is super rich, with plenty of vegetarian options, no misses at all～ Especially the caramel cheesecake, rich and creamy with sweet caramel, addictive from the first bite! The self-service area and bar are also amazing, with a relaxed and cozy atmosphere～ Although it’s hidden deep inside, it’s definitely worth making a special trip to check in!
