Tonight we came to this popular all-you-can-eat spot in Causeway Bay — "Gokushou Daikiya," to see if their dinner buffet is really that impressive! 😎 This place is located on the 9th floor of Causeway Bay Plaza 1, very convenient and close by, just a few steps from the MTR station, perfect for gathering with friends for a feast! 🌟 Atmosphere — lively but not cramped 🏮 Once you enter, the space is quite large, and the seating isn’t too tight, so even when full, it doesn’t feel cramped. The decor is typical of a Japanese buffet restaurant style, with bright lighting, and the whole place is lively, filled with the sounds of diners laughing and clinking glasses, creating a nice atmosphere. However, if you’re after an extremely quiet dining experience, this might not be your cup of tea. Overall, it’s clean and tidy, and the seating is quite comfortable. 🍣 Sashimi & Sushi — fresh and generous portions, wide variety 🐟 When it comes to all-you-can-eat, sashimi is definitely the highlight! This place offers a good variety of sashimi including salmon, tuna, yellowtail, scallops, sweet shrimp, red shrimp, surf clam, whelk, and razor clams, pretty comprehensive. The sashimi slices are thick and look fresh, especially the salmon, which has a nice fat distribution and a rich fish oil flavor; the red shrimp and scallops are also quite sweet and fresh. For sushi, besides the basic types, there are some creative options like foie gras sushi, with a piece of foie gras bigger than the rice, melting in your mouth—pretty indulgent!
