A Night Stroll Along the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars – Statues, Skyline, and a Photo with McDull

There’s no better way to experience the charm of Hong Kong than with a night walk along the Avenue of Stars. Located by the edge of Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui, this waterfront promenade beautifully combines the glamour of Hong Kong cinema with the breathtaking views of the city skyline. As I wandered along the path, I came across a variety of bronze statues that celebrate Hong Kong’s rich film industry. Each sculpture tells a story — from filmmakers and camera crews to legendary actors. One of the most eye-catching pieces was the statue of the Hong Kong Film Awards Goddess — elegant and iconic, holding a star high in the air. She stands tall with the skyline as her backdrop, perfectly capturing the spirit of Hong Kong’s cinematic legacy. Of course, no visit to the Avenue of Stars would be complete without pausing to take in the Victoria Harbour night view. The skyline glittered with lights, and the reflection on the water was simply stunning — like a living postcard. Then, to top off the night, I found one of my favorite surprises — McDull the pig! This adorable local cartoon character had his own statue, and I couldn’t resist snapping a photo with him. It added a playful and heartwarming moment to an already beautiful evening.
