After multiple trips to Yau Tsim Mong and Hong Kong Island, I started exploring Hong Kong's "suburbs" and discovered they're truly treasures~ **Sha Tin Relaxing One-Day Itinerary:** Transport: Take the East Rail Line from Futian Port to Sha Tin (approx. 30min) Main Attractions: - **New Town Plaza**: Dining, shopping, and entertainment. The mall's layout is as maze-like as ever—exploring might take 3-5h. - **Sha Tin Town Hall & Sha Tin Public Library**: Right next to New Town Plaza. Stumbled upon these while looking for restrooms—pleasant surprises! - **Sha Tin Park**: Just a short walk through from the library. A peaceful riverside stroll awaits. - **Hong Kong Heritage Museum**: Surprisingly fantastic! (Personally, I prefer it over the Hong Kong Museum.) - A 10-15min walk from Sha Tin Park. No reservation needed—just walk in! - Opening Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri: 10am–6pm Sat, Sun, Public Holidays: 10am–7pm Last entry 30min before closing.
