After having a meal nearby, we came here to buy some treats so that my dad, who can't go out due to gout, can still enjoy some delicious food during the New Year. Bakery by the Grand, yes, it's part of the same group as the buffet restaurant upstairs and is closely related to the star-rated restaurant, so the quality is naturally guaranteed. There are many food options. The croissants are exquisite, the bow-shaped croissants are eye-catching, and they even have chimney cakes with hundreds of years of history from Eastern Europe. They also serve ice cream, making it hard to choose. My parents have always loved egg tarts, so I got a few original ones. The appearance is similar to Hashtag B, and when reheated at home in a steam oven, the crust is very crispy, and the egg flavor is quite rich. Both parents were satisfied, but the price is indeed six-star. I also bought the store's specialty, the chimney cake with a long history in Eastern Europe. It's made to order and takes about twenty minutes. I'll wait! There are five flavors of chimney cakes: original (cinnamon), hazelnut spread, peanut, honey, and vegan. Since peanuts and hazelnuts are not suitable for gout patients, honey is the safest choice. The finished product looks like a chimney, with a slightly crispy exterior and a chewy interior, giving it a layered texture. I think the honey flavor is quite good. I made a mistake by not having ice cream at home; otherwise, it would have been even better with ice cream. I hope to try their croissants next time; they should be just as good.
