Modern Ngong Ping 360 Rescue Trail The contractor built a pathway along the slope following the cable car route for rescue and maintenance purposes during the construction of the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. This walkway is also open to the public, offering expansive views of Tung Chung Bay and Lantau Peak along the way, with cable cars shuttling back and forth above. The Ngong Ping Trail is located on Lantau Island, connecting Tung Chung to Ngong Ping. It is 5.6 kilometers long and serves as a rescue path for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, to be used during cable car rescue and maintenance operations. 👏👏👏
