The "Jardine's Lookout Hanging Walk" is also the first section of the "Jardine's North Aqueduct". The entire section of the aqueduct is about one kilometer long. It was built as early as 1925 and has been nearly a hundred years old. As the northern slope of Jardine's Lookout is steep and vertical, a sky bridge was used to build the waterway. It feels like it is suspended in the air, and in recent years it has been called the "Suspended Plank Road". The starting point is Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Gas Station. You can transfer to bus No. 63/41A at North Point Station and get off at "Wong Nai Chung Park". Other bus options include 6, 76, and 66. After getting off the bus, go up the stairs next to the gas station to Tai Tam Reservoir Road, turn left and walk 500 meters to Tai Tam Country Trail. Opposite the Tai Tam Country Trail is Yangmingshan Resort. There is a parking lot next to the starting point and another large gate, which is very easy to spot. After passing through the gate, you will see the ammunition depot. Go straight along the main path and you will see the stairs leading to the Jardine South Aqueduct on the right. There are many military relics of the Wong Nai Chung Gap Trail near the Jardine South Diversion Channel, including anti-aircraft gun emplacements and machine gun bunkers. Before visiting the Jardine's Lookout Suspension Walk, you can stop by to visit the military relics in the Wong Nai Chung Gap Trail before continuing your journey. Going down the stairs, the Jardine South Aqueduct is very long. When you almost reach the end, you will pass a aqueduct bridge.
