#visithongkong Port Island - Turquoise Water + Red Soil? It is a Hidden Gem in Hong Kong! Port Island is an uninhabited island in Hong Kong, most known for its red soil and sand on the island. The island is so obscure and underrated that it deserves to be a tourist attraction! There are a few hiking trails which could be quite challenging and strenuous, but the views of the coastline at different viewpoints are just so worth it. Since it is an uninhabited island, there are no public ferries to the island. To get there, you can hire a boat driver, or join a shared tour organized by Splitdyboat! They organize boat tours around 3-5 times a month to Port Island. Catch a spot if you can!
