[Hawaii, Maui] Recommended long-established sweets🍩

Founded in 1916 and in business for over 100 years, Komoda Store & Bakery is a popular Maui store located in Makawao, a small town in the northeast of the island. Their specialties are malasadas, donuts, and cream puffs. This time, I bought a stick donut and a guava malasada, and had them for breakfast. (2 for USD4.34/about JPY600) The stick donuts, made of 5 mini donuts skewered and coated with sugar, had a simple sweetness like karinto, and I ate them all up in no time! My favorite is the guava malasada. The malasada is filled with guava filling. The sweet and sour taste was perfect and it was very delicious👍 Many people eat outside the store after purchasing, but sweet donuts are essential with coffee, so I had them with a cafe latte at the popular cafe "Espresso Mafia" on the same street☕️ When I asked the shop staff if I could bring in food, they cheerfully agreed, and I felt the warmth of Hawaii😊 Komoda Bakery has a line from the morning, and it is often sold out by lunchtime.
