If you look at the map, there are two locations for the train, and although the scenery is pretty, the police were blocking the road, so I couldn't go in. Instead, I moved a little bit and went to the train near the train station, and it was free to enter and the atmosphere was good! The moment when a real train passes through the narrow alleys is really thrilling and amazing. Having a drink at a small cafe next to the tracks and waiting and watching the train pass up close is a special experience that you can only have in Hanoi. ⏰ Operating hours: You can visit anytime (trains pass by 2-4 times a day, so it's good to check the AM/PM times!) 💳 Price: Free (You only have to pay for drinks when using the cafe) 🛵 Location and transportation: You can find it on Trần Phú Street or Lê Duẩn Street near Hanoi Station. You can walk there, and it's also quick to take a taxi or Grab. 🫶🏻 What I liked!: The scene where the train actually passes through the narrow alley! The video taken right in front of you is definitely a great shot. The local atmosphere sitting along the train tracks was also great. 🎸 Other notes: Some sections can still be blocked by the police, so it's good to go to the accessible section near the train station.
