Accommodation in Hanoi: Sofitel Plaza

【The beautiful scenery of West Lake】 After returning to Hanoi from Halong Bay, we stayed at Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, which is located next to West Lake. It is quite far from the city center (it takes about half an hour to walk back to the old quarter, and the taxi was 76,000 when I went out and 38,000 when I returned). Sofitel Plaza Hanoi gives people a very comfortable feeling. Traditional Vietnamese buildings and green streets can be vaguely seen outside. There is a well-lit bar, dessert shop and restaurant in the basement of the hotel. The room design is relatively simple, with different tones of yellow as the theme color. Lotus paintings are hung on the walls to add color. The highlight is definitely the large windows with a great view. There are large right-angled glass windows, a busy road in front, the Red River on the right, and low houses filling the entire screen. The bathroom is very large. It's a bit like a hydromassage shower head. I thought it was weird at first, but later I found it's really comfortable to use it as a hydromassage. I also appreciate the hair dryer here. Besides having sufficient firepower, it is switched on and off by pressing a handle, which gives you a sense of having everything under control. When the fog clears in the morning, you can feel the charm of this big window. (In fact, the night view is quite beautiful) If you have time in the morning, you can take a walk along the river. It is said that there is a museum to visit. Many of the guests of this hotel are early birds. When I checked in at six in the morning, there were already several tables of diners. After getting the food, the place was already bustling with people. It's rare to see such a lively breakfast at six o'clock.
