It was my first time at the sand dunes, and the sand got in my feet so I was pretty exhausted. Walking through the sand dunes, you can see the sun setting into the sea. Climbing the steep sand dunes is harder than you'd think, so I recommend wearing sneakers. The kids were running around barefoot 🏃 Even if you make a detour to the nearby windmill park, you'll only stay for about an hour.
