#November2024 Hakone is located in Kanagawa Prefecture near Tokyo and is a famous hot spring resort in Japan. It takes about 80 minutes by train from Shinjuku. Surrounded by mountains and picturesque scenery, it has many popular attractions such as Lake Ashi, Ōwakudani, Hakone Shrine and Gora Park. In autumn, Hakone is a great place to enjoy the autumn scenery. The red leaves and golden ginkgo leaves all over the mountains are beautiful. We strongly recommend using the Hakone Freepass, which allows you to freely ride eight types of transportation within the designated area, including the Hakone Tozan Railway and the Hakone Ropeway, allowing you to easily explore every corner of Hakone.
