Walking Above the Clouds at Jade Lake

Located in the territory of Dachaidan Town, Qinghai, Jade Lake resembles a collection of gemstones, with interwoven shades of blue and green, embedded in the Gobi Desert, shining brilliantly. Dachaidan Jade Lake remains unfrozen throughout the year due to its high salt content. The lake's water, rich in varying concentrations of potassium, magnesium, lithium, and other elements, displays a spectrum of colors. Through the water's surface, the salt layers at the lakebed are clearly visible. The inner layer appears azure blue, while the outer layer is milky blue. Under sunlight, the lake's center sometimes takes on a jade green hue. The water is crystal clear, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds on its surface, blending heaven and earth into one. Walking amidst this scenery feels like strolling above the clouds. No wonder people say Jade Lake is a celestial paradise on earth.
