#summervacay Just got back from Hwangmae-san and let me tell you, this mountain delivers. It’s not super famous like some of the other big-name spots, but honestly? That’s kind of the best part. No massive crowds, just good vibes, rolling hills, and wildflowers for days. If you hit it during azalea season, prepare to be floored. Whole sections of the trail are just glowing pink, it looks fake in the best way. You’re basically walking through a wallpaper-worthy scene the whole time. It’s a bit of a climb to the top, not gonna lie, but nothing too wild. Just take your time, bring water, and enjoy the view. The summit? 10/10. Mountain layers for miles and a breeze that makes you feel like a sage reflecting on life. Honestly, Hwangmae-san feels like that cool spot only locals know about. Peaceful, pretty, and way underrated. If you’re in the Hapcheon area and craving nature with a side of wow, this is the move.
