Lasarte Oria, on a beautiful day

Lasarte-Oria is a lively, modern municipality located very close to the beaches and offering incredible views of the Oria valley. Nearly all its area is built up, making it the municipality with the highest population density in Gipuzkoa province. The river Oria runs through the locality, with the locality of the same name to the south. Lasarte-Oria is a new town since it was founded in 1986.
