I hadn’t visited before, but since my hotel was nearby this time, I explored it and found the scenery truly beautiful. 📍 **Two Rivers and Four Lakes (Free Admission)** Home to the landmark Sun & Moon Pagodas, stunning both day and night. A lakeside stroll offers various views of the pagodas, and many people come here for photoshoots📷. 📍 **Xinchang·Guihai Qinglan Scenic Area (Ticket: ¥25)** Once a golf course, now open to the public. The vast green lawns paired with Guilin’s mountains⛰️ create a breathtaking view. You can stroll or rent a scooter🛵 to explore—it’s relaxing and perfect for photos. The trees around the palace are exceptionally picturesque. 📍 **Xiaoyao Tower** First built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt multiple times. Climb the tower for panoramic views—capture Liberation Bridge with the Li River, or admire Guilin’s mountains⛰️ from the riverside. 📍 **East-West Lane** A trendy pedestrian street with quirky shops and cozy bars🍷. It’s a delightful place to wander, and across the street is a food alley🍝. **Travel Tips🎈:** 1. For high-speed rail🚄 to Guilin, prioritize Guilin Station, then Guilin North Station, and lastly Guilin West Station. 2. Most recommended attractions (except Xinyi·Guihai Qinglan) are downtown. Stay🏨 near Two Rivers and Four Lakes—I stayed at The Banyan Tree Hotel, which was convenient, elegant, and offered great service. 3. Two Rivers and Four Lakes and Xiaoyao Tower offer different vibes day and night—visit both if time allows. 4. Xinchang·Guihai Qinglan is far from downtown; take a taxi🚖 or drive. ⚠️ Note: Taxis are scarce after 5 PM. 5. Shared e-bikes🛵 are the best way to get around Guilin—plentiful and convenient.
