Gubei Water Town is beautiful during the day, but discovering a traditional Korean-style tea house while wandering through its alleys was truly special. It felt like stepping back in time, offering a tranquil atmosphere where you could take a moment to breathe. The interior of the tea house was adorned with traditional Chinese furniture, red lanterns, and wooden pillars, creating a clean and warm ambiance. Outside the window, a stream flowed gently, and a boat quietly paddled by. Sipping warm chrysanthemum tea while enjoying this peaceful scenery was an incredibly soothing experience. The staff were friendly, and the variety of teas available made it hard to choose. I opted for floral tea, while my friend chose jasmine tea—both were fragrant and had a clean taste. Finding such a quiet and sentimental space within a tourist destination felt like a stroke of luck. If you visit Gubei Water Town, I highly recommend taking a break at this traditional tea house away from the bustling streets. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression.
