[Guangzhou Cuisine] A Minimalist Restaurant Amidst the Glittering Lights of Pazhou I initially planned to visit Fuel in Pazhou, but passing by this understated concrete entrance was irresistible for a minimalist architect like me who loves fair-faced concrete... In the dazzling and vibrant Pazhou, such a simple entrance feels slightly out of place. I didn't order much food, but I still had my beloved Peking duck.... 📍Location: 1st-3rd Floor, Warehouse 5, Phase 2, Area B, Pazhou, Haizhu District, Guangzhou 🚗Transportation: Take the subway to Canton Tower and walk for 15 minutes; or take the light rail from Canton Tower directly to Pazhou 🦆Peking Duck🦆 Those who have read my posts know that I always order Peking duck whenever it's on the menu. This restaurant's Peking duck gets a 100/100!! And the key is, it's under 100 RMB!! I can confidently say it's the most cost-effective Peking duck I've ever had! Highly recommended! 🍆Roasted Pepper, Preserved Egg, and Eggplant Salad🍆 This is a classic Sichuan dish. I love preserved eggs, so I ordered it. It turned out to be fantastic, not spicy at all, so order with confidence! 100/100! Another strong recommendation! 🍤Coconut-Flavored Fried Shrimp Balls🍤 60/100... It's the dish in the cover photo. The taste is just so-so... Good for photos, but it honestly doesn't taste as good as mine.. 🥠Mushroom Buns🥠 Also featured on the cover, I give it a 90/100, with 60 points for its appearance lol 👍Service 80/100, the waiters are dressed in Shanghai Bund attire from the Republican era. Perhaps because of this, the service felt a bit aloof; 💰Price 90/100, especially the Peking duck! Extremely cost-effective! 🌿Ambience 100/100, excellent! (Mainly because I love the minimalist polished concrete...)
