Autumn trip to Baishuizhai, Zengcheng.

The waterfall is divided into five sections, like a jade belt on the green peaks, which makes you want to see its source: Baishuizhai Reservoir. Continue climbing. Most of the steps here are wooden, and you can see the water flowing under your feet and the rocks hanging in the air. Look up and you can see all kinds of tree roots and vines bursting out of the rocks. You will be impressed by the tenacity of life. Finally, you reach 2,000 steps. This is a fork in the road. If you have the energy, continue to challenge yourself to 3,000–4,000 steps. I made a good confession at 2,000 steps. While looking at Zengcheng surrounded by golden rice fields at the foot of the mountain, I ate something to replenish my energy before going down the mountain. There is also a fun water area at the foot of the mountain. The water is clear and you can see small fish. There are also healthy walking paths on both sides, which are very suitable for elderly people and children who are not strong enough to climb the mountain. With a view of greenery, the one-day trip to Baishuizhai is over. If you are still interested, you can take a tourist bus to the nearby He Xiangu Scenic Area to climb the mountain and pray for blessings. You can also take a bus to Conghua for a one-day trip. There are buses to Zengcheng and Conghua at the foot of Baishuizhai, which is very suitable for students and budget travelers without a car. There are also many specialty restaurants at the foot of the mountain, such as mountain snails and stir-fried meat with dried bamboo shoots. Although they are a bit expensive, they are a travel experience. Zengcheng silk seed rice is very famous. If you come in summer, you must buy the local lychees, which are a local specialty. Zengcheng is the back garden of Guangzhou and is very suitable for weekend trips.
