Nice for a change of Taste

I had a few days of stay in guabgzhou while attending the Canton fair with some colleagues. None of us extremely familiar with Turkish cuisine but I had the advantage of two holidays in turkey. So I fairly remember the taste or what qualifies as comparable to things I had in turkey. The Shawarma didn't make it to that list. But the other items were decent. It wad 5 of us and so we ordered and shared plenty of dishes. I'm not a fan of baklava. Just not into that texture. But some of the first timers in the group were impressed. Overall considering the price and this being a refreshing change from Chinese food, the experience was mostly good. The crowd may not be the nicest. You see this place works for anyone who can only eat halal and so much chose between certain options in China. But I don't the Arab types of of north African types of people stare at you and just have strange sensibilities. And as a group of mostly women and foreigners. This wasn't amusing.
