Guangzhou Chunyuan

Chunyuan is located in the De'an community of Dongshan Street, Guangzhou. It was built in the 1920s and consists of three parallel Western-style buildings with Chinese-Western architectural elements. In April 1923, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China moved from Shanghai to Guangzhou. Chunyuan became the main office of the central authorities. During the Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, Mao Zedong, Cai Hesen, Xiang Jingyu, Zhang Tailei, and other representatives, as well as the Comintern representative Maring, lived and worked here.
