The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, located on Dongfeng Middle Road in Guangzhou, is a classic landmark building in Guangzhou. This building was jointly funded by Guangzhou citizens and overseas Chinese to commemorate the great Mr. Sun Yat-sen. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is octagonal in design, with a roof covered with blue glazed tiles, showing a unique architectural style that is quite similar to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing. On the front hangs a plaque inscribed with the words "The World Belongs to All" written by Dr. Sun Yat-sen himself, highlighting his lofty ideals and great spirit. The bronze statue of Mr. Sun Yat-sen stands majestically in the center in front of the memorial hall, gazing into the distance as if guarding the land he loved so much. Today, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall has been transformed into a concert hall. The public must purchase tickets to enter and experience the charm of this historic building firsthand. ⚠️Note: Starting from July 20, 2023, the exterior wall of the Memorial Hall will be repaired. It will take 200 days and will be completed around February 2024.
