Guangta Temple｜Check in Guangzhou Ancient Temple

Huaisheng Mosque is one of the oldest existing mosques in China. Together with Quanzhou Qingjing Temple, Hangzhou Phoenix Temple, and Yangzhou Xianhe Temple, it is known as the first four famous mosques built after Islam was introduced to China. The buildings in the temple have three gates, a moon-watching tower, a worship hall and a sutra-storing pavilion in sequence on the main axis. Unlike other mosques, the architectural style of Huaisheng Temple is mainly based on traditional Chinese characteristics. ⚠️Because it is a mosque, the security guard in front of the door will ask every visitor the purpose of their visit.
