The Chong’er Ancestral Hall in Luoba Village, Longnan, Jiangxi

Built in the Qing Dynasty, the Chong’er Ancestral Hall in Luoba Village commemorates Mr. Chong’er of the Cai family. Covering an area of 250 square meters, it features a three-bay, two-story design with a hard mountain roof, horse head walls, and a brick-wood structure. The first story has a concave design with wooden columns and stone bases, topped with a coffered ceiling and painted beams. Three red sandstone doorways with stone lintels open at the front, and a wooden plaque reading "Chong’er Ancestral Hall" hangs above the main entrance. Square bricks pave the front hall, and a well is located in the courtyard. The second story also has wooden columns and stone bases, with a plaque inscribed "Yixun Hall" hanging in the main hall. The hall's beams are thick and the decoration is simple. It is a traditional Jiangxi Province building.
