Quiet Trails and Big Sky Feels in Hongcheon

#summervacay Spent the day hiking around Hongcheon and honestly, it was just what I needed. Super peaceful from the start, barely anyone else on the trail, just me, the trees, and that soft mountain breeze. The hike starts off nice and easy, then slowly gets a bit steeper, but nothing too wild. Just enough to make you feel like, “Yep, I’m definitely hiking.” The views along the way were awesome, lots of open sky, rolling hills in the distance, and these little rock outcrops that are perfect for sitting and zoning out. It’s one of those places where the silence feels good, like your brain can finally take a breather. Made it to the top, had a snack, and just chilled for a bit. Wind in my face, clouds cruising by, birds doing their thing. The vibe was totally lowkey and peaceful. If you’re looking for a quiet, soul-reset kind of hike without the crowds, a hidden gem. Would 100% go again.
