From the rooftop to the gallery, a floor-by-floor review of Selectednics - Gangnam

Located about a 5-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 3, 'Selectednics' is a large café spanning six floors, each with its own unique atmosphere and theme. Orders are placed at the kiosk on the first floor, and you can freely choose a seat on any floor. This time, I ordered an iced Americano, iced latte, and the signature tiramisu set, which includes three flavors: original, choco banana, and banana. The tiramisu had a rich texture with a balanced sweetness that wasn’t overwhelming, and each flavor offered a distinct taste, making it fun to pick and choose. The coffee had a clean acidity that paired well with the tiramisu. I particularly enjoyed exploring the second floor, which features an exhibition space, and the quiet basement (B1). Sipping coffee amidst the gallery-like ambiance felt special, and the rooftop (8th floor) offers a view of Gangnam’s urban landscape, making it worth a visit. Overall, Selectednics felt more like a multi-cultural café focused on spatial experiences rather than just a place for good food. While it can get a bit hectic when crowded, the multiple floors allow you to find a relatively peaceful spot to enjoy your time.
