Hakata Station underground "Hakata's Food Place"

Hakata no Gohandokoro is located on the first basement floor of Hakata Daitos, which is attached to Hakata Station. If you go out of the station towards the Chikushi Exit and go down to the basement, you will find a place where restaurants are gathered. There is also a place called Hakata 1st Street on the Hakata Exit side where restaurants are gathered, but Hakata no Gohandokoro seems to be a little less crowded and may be a hidden gem. There are unique ramen shops such as Meikyou Shisui, a ramen shop where you can drink wine, and Hountei, the gyoza restaurant that was the birthplace of Hakata's bite-sized gyoza and has been in business for 70 years. Casual meat dishes such as Tonkatsu Hamakatsu and Hamburg Tawaraya are available. There are also curry restaurants, rice bowl restaurants, and cafes. October is the autumn travel season.
