The first morning in Fukuoka, I arrived at Kushida Shrine after a leisurely walk under the gentle morning sunlight. It was amazing to find such a tranquil space in the middle of the city, a place that naturally calms your mind. I slowly climbed the stone steps, passed through the old trees, and quietly made a wish under the large ginkgo tree. With a slightly excited heart, I drew my fortune slip... Great luck! These small moments of fortune make the trip feel even more special. The Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival floats displayed throughout the shrine were truly splendid and impressive. A place where time seems to stand still, allowing you to feel the essence of Japanese traditional culture. Letting go of complicated thoughts, just walking slowly and observing was more than enough.
