The bridge that connects the castle town of Fukuoka and the merchant town of Hakata: Fukuhaku Deai Bridge

During my trip to Fukuoka, I visited the Fukuhaku Deai Bridge. The Fukuhaku Deai Bridge is a bridge over the Naka River in Fukuoka City. It was named after the fact that it connects the merchant town of Hakata and the samurai town of Fukuoka. Tenjin Central Park on the Tenjin side hosts various events and is a lively spot on weekends. At the foot of the park on the Nakasu side, there is a statue of three maiko. At night, the neon lights of the Nakasu area along the Nakagawa River are a highlight. The Fukuhaku Deai Bridge is attractive because it is a wide road and a pedestrian precinct, allowing you to enjoy the scenery of Nakasu/Tenjin at your leisure.
