Early Spring at Fukuchiyama Castle

Perched on a hill, the castle offers a great panoramic view of Fukuchiyama city, and the historical atmosphere is just incredible. Built by the famous samurai general Akechi Mitsuhide, Fukuchiyama Castle has a fascinating history. The reconstructed keep stands beautifully against the spring sky, and if you’re lucky, you might even see some early cherry blossoms starting to bloom.
