Huagai Road

Huagai Road in Daliang Town, Shunde was built in the early years of the Republic of China. It is the only commercial pedestrian street in Daliang and a commercial pedestrian street with Lingnan characteristics. On both sides of Huagai Road Pedestrian Street are Lingnan-style Western-style buildings with arcade features from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The main colors are pink, pink green, and pink blue. Colorful arcades and the time-honored Minxin Double Skin Milk Shop. The "Geographical Names of Shunde City, Guangdong Province" records: Huagailizhi Street, formerly known as Bazha, was a gathering place for wealthy families during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Eight gates were built for defense to maintain safety, hence the name. Later, because Bi Street was renamed Huagai Road, it was subsequently changed to Huagaili.
