One month free travel in Italy - Day 4: Visit the birthplace of the Renaissance: Florence

As soon as you arrive in Florence, you will see tram tracks crisscrossing the road. It was our first time riding a tram in Italy, and on the way to our destination, we were able to admire this city, which is known as the "Medieval Athens." We spent a whole day exploring Florence's city center and visiting various attractions: 🏫Accademia delle Belle Arti di Firenze Speaking of Florence, one will definitely think of the famous David of Michelangelo. As a work of Michelangelo, the sculpture of David is quite rigorous and delicate. Its muscle lines and veins on the hands show the contemporary praise for the human body and masculine charm. As the first art school in Europe, it houses various statues and paintings, as well as a musical instrument museum. Friends who love art must visit here! (You must make an appointment in advance, otherwise you will have to wait for more than an hour.) ⛪️Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore As an iconic building in Florence, we were attracted by its exquisite facade as soon as we arrived at the main entrance. The painting of "The Last Judgment" inside the dome is even more amazing. After dinner and finishing the day's itinerary, we happened to pass by a park and took some photos before nightfall. It was really beautiful 💫🫶🏻 (it was taken at 10pm! Yes, I am still surprised by such a long daylight hour^^) -to be continued- 🍽️ Lunch today - Mercato Centrale Firenze (Central Market) @ilmercatocentralefirenze: As one of the tourist attractions, we also visited it. The lower floor mainly sells various groceries and food, while the upper floor is the cooked food market, and the prices are quite affordable (there are many people during lunch time, so you need to reserve time to wait for a seat, and also pay attention to the opening hours of your favorite stores~) 🗣️We ordered Da Nerbone's tripe buns (a local delicacy from central Italy, very delicious without any fishy smell!), Pasta Fresca's rigatoni (very, very fragrant cheese, also very delicious!), Fausto Savigni's beef salad 💰 Average consumption per person: about 10 euros 🌟Rating: 4.5/5.0 🍽️Today’s dinner – Mercato Centrale 🗣️This restaurant is highly rated online, but the prices are high and the portions are small. The only thing that impressed me was the dessert that appeared on Master Chef.
