The closest sky in Europe, This place truly felt like a fairytale train journey🧚🏻 Rolling green fields, chalets, lakes outside the window... Especially the route through Grindelwald was indescribably beautiful.✨ A view you can’t afford to miss! 🚞 Choose different train routes for the ascent and descent👌🏻 You’ll encounter new scenery both ways‼️ Highly recommend reserving a window seat in advance💕 💡 But here’s something you must know! Clear skies at Jungfraujoch occur less than 100 days a year🥹 (It’s better to keep your expectations low!) ⛰️ The summit is at 3,454m, and it’s colder than you might expect due to the snow🥶 Even during the hot end of June, a cardigan wasn’t enough... Proper windproof and warm clothing is essential‼️ 🤕 Altitude sickness was surprisingly noticeable... I had a headache... 👉🏻 To prepare for altitude sickness: ✔️ Drink water frequently ✔️ Avoid running or exerting yourself ✔️ Bring candy or chocolate Next time, I’d love to stay in Grindelwald and take my time soaking in the scenery.
