Who can resist the adorable giant pandas?

The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, Dujiangyan Base, is located at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain. You can visit both Qingcheng Mountain and the panda base in one day. This was my first time seeing the roly-poly pandas at the Dujiangyan base, and most of them were enjoying their meals. The interaction with them was heartwarming, and it was so much fun! 🌟🐼 Highlights of the park 🚶 Clear routes and compact layout: Panpan Garden → Shuangnan Garden → Linze Garden → Diequan Garden. Each garden is close to the others, so walking the whole way isn't too tiring. Panpan Garden is just 20 meters from the main entrance, so you can see the giant pandas right away. 🌿 Open-air enclosures offer excellent viewing: The outdoor areas are not large and have minimal shrubs, allowing visitors to get relatively close to the pandas and see them clearly. However, because of this proximity, visitors need to be quiet and respectful. 🌸 Fewer crowds: Compared to other places, there are fewer tourists here, which allows for a better viewing experience. 📍 Address: China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, Dujiangyan Base 💴 Ticket prices: Adult tickets are CNY 55, child tickets are CNY 29, and the sightseeing bus is CNY 15 per person (the sightseeing bus is optional), purchased via the official WeChat account. ⏰ Opening hours: 8:30–17:00 🚌 Transportation First, take Chengdu Subway Line 2 to Xipu Station. At Xipu Station, transfer to the intercity train (purchase tickets in advance on 12306 for CNY 10) to Qingchengshan Station. From Qingchengshan Station, it's about a 10-minute taxi ride to the Dujiangyan panda base, costing around CNY 10. You can also take bus 102 from Qingchengshan Station to Panda Paradise Station. ✅ Tour routes 🚶 Walking tour: It is recommended to visit from bottom to top, starting with Panpan Garden, followed by Shuangnan Garden, Linze Garden, and finally Diequan Garden. 🚎 Sightseeing bus tour: If you choose to take the sightseeing bus, you can ride to Diequan Garden at the top of the mountain and then tour downwards. ⚠️ Book free tickets in advance (free admission to the Dujiangyan panda base on March 1, but reservations are required).
