The Opium War Museum located in Humen Town, Dongguan City is one of the museums in Dongguan City that displays the history of the Opium War to visitors. This museum, which was built in 1957, preserves historical materials related to the Humen Opium Destruction and the Opium War. This visit gave me a deeper understanding of the Opium War in Chinese history. The museum displays the historical background, events and impacts of the time, prompting me to reflect on this period of history. In the museum, I saw a large number of exhibits. In addition, in addition to a detailed introduction to the history of Lin Zexu's destruction of opium in Humen, the museum also has models that vividly reproduce the scenes of people smoking opium at that time.
