Yuchun

A small town with the charm of the Republic of China. The great poet Du Fu of the Tang Dynasty once wrote: 'Yu Xin's articles are getting better with age, and his vigorous pen is full of ideas.' The 'Yu Xin' in the poem is a great literary scholar of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and this literary lineage can be traced back to Yu Xin's ancestors. Yu Xin was born in a family that had 'seven generations of scholars' and 'five generations of anthologies'. He was a descendant of Yu Chan, a literary scholar of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. His grandfather, Yu Yi, was highly talented but chose to live in seclusion; his father, Yu Jianwu, once served in the Southern Liang Dynasty and was a famous literary scholar at the time. The Yu family once lived in this area, hence the name Yuchun Village.
