Visit the second floor, then the third, and finally the first for the best historical overview. - Huayan Temple: The Liao and Jin Dynasty murals here are absolutely stunning, each stroke telling a thousand-year-old story. - Shanhua Temple: The unique architectural style is steeped in history, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient artisans. - Fahua Temple: Also boasts a rich history and culture, worth savoring. - Datong Ancient City: Stroll through the ancient city and soak in its age-old charm. - Day 2: Hanging Temple - Yong'an Temple - Yuanjue Temple - Yingxian Wooden Pagoda - Yungang Grottoes - Hanging Temple: As Li Bai wrote, "A precarious building a hundred feet high, where one can pluck stars with their hand." Experience its magnificence firsthand. - Yong'an Temple: The Yuan Dynasty murals, the coffered ceiling depicting the celestial palace, and the murals of the Wisdom Kings are exquisite and captivating. - Yuanjue Temple: When the temple is closed at noon, you can circle it for blessings.
