Phi Ta Khon Festival Trip in Dan Sai District, Loei Province, an annual festival of Dan Sai District people that is held every year, with a large number of tourists joining the event. This year, 2024, it will be held on July 7-8-9, 2024. For first-time visitors like us, I must say that I was very impressed because I like festivals anyway. The people here are friendly and welcoming, and they are ready to welcome tourists and give advice. The venue is Wat Phon Chai, an important temple here that is used for Phi Ta Khon ceremonies. Inside the temple, there is also a Phi Ta Khon Museum where you can walk around and see its history. I would like to recommend friends who want to come to this festival next year or in the following years. Traffic is quite heavy, so I recommend bringing a motorbike. Also, accommodations fill up very quickly. You should book early when the date of the event is announced. For those who like tents, I recommend going up the mountain.
