2 days and 1 night in Croatia🇭🇷 Solo trip to enjoy the overwhelming nature [without Dubrovnik]

#100 Travel Styles ⭐️Enjoy the overwhelming nature in 2 days‼️ 🇭🇷Solo female trip to Croatia🧳【Other than Dubrovnik】 Hello. I'm a 21-year-old woman living in Seville, Spain. I went on a whirlwind trip to enjoy the nature of Croatia to the fullest in 2 days, so I'll record it here🇭🇷🌿🏖️⛰️ I didn't go to Dubrovnik, a super popular tourist city, because my purpose was to get in touch with nature and relax + eat fresh seafood. Croatia is famous for Dubrovnik, but other places are also attractive, so I hope you'll be at least a little interested🐟🐙 ——————————————————————————————— I based myself in Split, the second largest city in Croatia. It is a city with many beaches where you can enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful Adriatic Sea, and in the summer season it is a resort destination that attracts people mainly from Europe. There are beautiful islands nearby that look like floating ships, and there are many day cruises. The old town also has a streetscape that flourished during the Roman Empire, and you can feel like you have traveled back in time. It seems to have been used as a filming location for Game of Thrones. The city itself is compact and one day is enough to see the main points, but there are many ways to enjoy it, including beaches and cruises, so I think you can feel its true charm if you stay longer. On the second day, we went by bus to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a World Heritage Site. I was moved by the overwhelming nature and felt my heart cleansed. I was also interested in the tourism model that allows you to walk in the park so close that you could easily fall into the lake, and maintains the value of nature as a national park while welcoming a large number of tourists. ——————————————————————————————— Day 1: Split ・Green market: Fresh local vegetables and fruits ・Old town: Diocletian's Palace, etc. ・Kavala beach: Casually enjoy the emerald green Adriatic Sea Day 2: Plitvice Lakes National Park + Split ・Marjan Hill Observatory: Enjoy the cute houses and beautiful sea of Split at the same time [🚌4 hours Online booking with flixbus] ・Plitvice Lakes National Park: Feel the overwhelming nature with blue lakes and waterfalls [🚌→Split] ・Old Town: Stroll through the city with a different atmosphere at night ———————————————————————————————— [Recommended spots] 1. Plitvice Lakes National Park 🏞️ + endless blue lake 🌿 There were a lot of tourists, but that's why they've made efforts to make the vast national park enjoyable even for beginners. You can make a plan according to your time by asking the official guide app or the staff. The staff member at the fork in the road suggested an unusual route, taking into account your preferences for how to enjoy it and even your walking speed, and it was a great success. In some places, there were no people at all and I was able to enjoy nature by myself, so I was able to immerse myself in nature. 2. Marjan Hill Observatory 🏡 + Panoramic view of the city and the Adriatic Sea 🌅 A little over 10 minutes walk from the old town, there is an observation deck that overlooks the entire city. The contrast between the cityscape lined with red-roofed houses with different heights like Dubrovnik and the beautiful Adriatic Sea is breathtaking. The buildings in the old town that give a sense of Roman history are also attractive. 3. Island 1-day cruise tour 🏝️ + Enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic Sea 120% 🚤 There were many companies advertising along the coast that offer cruise tours according to time and location. Nearby, there are islands where you can enjoy the blue lagoon, caves, and crystal clear waters that make it seem like a ship is floating, and you can enjoy them on a day trip without any preparation. This time, I did not participate due to time constraints and traveling alone, but it is an activity I definitely want to participate in next time. [Recommended Gourmet] 1. Luca Ice Cream & Cake🍦🪻 + Lavender Gelato, Pistachio Raspberry Gelato There are gelato shops all over the city, but after eating at four shops over two days, I would recommend this one the most. It's a little away from the tourist center and a little quieter. The flavors they carry vary depending on the day, and all of them are original and attractive. The popular ones were sold out by the evening, so I wasn't able to try the pistachio raspberry that I wanted to try. I remember that the small ones were 2.8€ each. I was interested in the blue cones. I went just before closing time, but they were kind to me even outside of opening hours. 2. Fife🐟🥩 + Grilled Sea Bass This is a very popular shop with a reputation for serving delicious food at a low price. I went around 10am without a reservation and waited about 20 minutes. There are many seats, and the restaurant is well-equipped to operate efficiently, so the turnover rate is good. I was impressed by how the receptionist was kind and sincere in her fluent English, including suggesting other possible restaurants to the customers in line. I was very satisfied because I wanted to enjoy fresh seafood in a way that made the most of the ingredients. The skin was crispy, the meat was oily, and there was no odor at all, and the accompanying vegetables also brought out the deliciousness of the ingredients. 3. Lola Split🦞🦪 + Mussels Similarly, it's a great place to eat at a low price. They seem to be famous for their squid ink risotto, but this time I ordered mussels. The satisfying amount of mussels was served with bread, and I was able to enjoy the delicious sauce (paprika and tomato-based?) to the fullest, and I was satisfied both in taste and in my stomach. I didn't order a drink, but asked for tap water, but they handled it without a single nasty look, and I was able to get dinner at a resort for 16.5€ (less than 2,500 yen). I was also interested in the octopus salad. [Recommended Hotels] - Area where the hotel is located: 30 minutes walk from the old town - Hotel name: Room dr. Franjo Tuđman - Hotel address: Cvite Fiskovića 3, 21000, Split, Croatia It is very economical because it rents out university dormitories during the summer holidays. The downside is that it is far from the old town, but it is not too far to walk, and I didn't feel unsafe even when going out late at night. #Solo trip #1 night 2 days #croatia #croatia #split #plitvicelakes #Plitvice Lakes National Park #Adriatic Sea #Seafood #Nature and spectacular views
