Sri Lanka is a small country, only 80% the size of Hokkaido. The largest city, Colombo, was once the capital and is also the economic center. It features an exotic cityscape with a mix of modern buildings, colonial buildings, and historical sites! Buddha is said to have visited the country three times... Buddhist temples can be found here and there.
