Come to Chuzhou to check in at the most beautiful chrysanthemum exhibition of the season! Stay at a charming ancient-style hotel surrounded by a garden full of golden chrysanthemums—this short trip is truly healing~ 🏨 Accommodation recommendation: Huazhu Taipingli Hotel (286 Xinhua Road Extension) Located within the Taiping Ancient City Scenic Area, just a 5-minute walk to the former residence of Wu Jingzi. The hotel features a traditional courtyard design with uniquely styled rooms. We stayed in a spacious family suite with a small courtyard—super cozy. The front desk staff kindly gave us mosquito repellent; the service was really nice! We recommend choosing a river view room; the ancient city night view is amazing! 🌼 Must-visit attraction: Chuzhou Chrysanthemum Expo Garden (2628 Chuning Road) Free admission! Opens at 8 AM~ It’s best to visit early in the morning or at dusk when the sunlight is gentle and perfect for photos. This year’s chrysanthemum exhibition is huge, with hundreds of chrysanthemum varieties arranged in various shapes. Our favorite was the globe made entirely of chrysanthemums—so creative! When you get tired, there’s a tea house inside the park to rest. Remember to wear light-colored clothes for photos with a 200% success rate! 🚗 Travel tips: It’s only a 1.5-hour drive from Nanjing. Taking the high-speed train to Chuzhou Station and then a 20-minute taxi ride will get you to the chrysanthemum exhibition. The two attractions are 12 minutes apart by car; renting a car is more convenient for exploring~ 🍜 Food recommendation: Near the hotel is "Taiping Ancient City" restaurant—try their authentic Quanjiao dishes! At the entrance of the Chrysanthemum Expo Garden, there’s a cultural and creative shop where you must try the chrysanthemum tea, which is sweet but not greasy with a light floral fragrance~
