Tangeum Lake is an artificial lake that spans across Gajeum-myeon and Geumga-myeon in Chungju-si, and is a famous place with a legend that Silla's Eok-eum Ureuk played the gayageum. There is a walking trail along the waterway, so you can really enjoy the winter atmosphere, especially on a snowy day. Tangeum Lake has the Tangeum Lake International Rowing Stadium, and Jungangtap Historic Park and Chungju Museum, so there are quite a few things to see.
