Wulong Karst; Transformers film set

#discoverchina This UESCO world heritage site is located in Wulong, Chong Qing! This is the site where transformers was also filmed! 
When researching on places to go in Chongqing, Wulong Karst came up a few times and after much contemplation, we decided to go ahead with it despite the inconvenience it takes to get there from the city!

Ways to get there! 
🚗: Private hire. 
I will say by far this was the most convenient option to go for. Travelling by car from Chongqing city centre itself will take roughly about 1.5hrs-2hrs! There are many private hire services or group day trips on ctrip to choose from that comes with transport. 
Admission tickets are usually not included in the price stated on the sites! 
However, we find that going for this option will bring about less hassle in transportation , and there will be a guide bringing the group around the different attractions in the area. However, time might be limited in each area due to it being a group tour. 
We did not go for this option as we found it rather pricey!
🚂: By good old skool train. 
We went ahead with this option due to budget + also we wanted to experience sitting in a 火车. I mean.. Singapore can’t experience this right ? 😜
There is only one train to Wulong station itself and it’s a 2 hours trip from North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station 
We didnt manage to get a seated ticket there hence we had to stand! But we managed to get allocated seats back to Chongqing! 
Directions: 
1. Take a train to Wulong station 
2. Upon exiting, take the escalator down on your right 
3. Board the bus heading towards Fairy Mountain. Bus tickets are 10 yuan/ pax! 
4. Alight at Fairy Mountain ticketing centre and buy tickets to the attractions that interest you! (In our case , we only bought to Three Natural Bridges) 
5. Head down the escalator towards the basement and take the respective buses to the attractions!! #travel #myitinerary #citydaytours #china #chongqing #threenaturalbridges
