It was a trip to Chongqing, China 🇨🇳It is a city like no other, built on mountains ⛰️ filled with mist, and packed with neon-lit skyscrapers, historic streets, and stunning river views. We explored some of the best spots for photography 📸 and found the perfect times to visit for incredible shots. We started our adventure at Hongya Cave, one of the most famous spots in Chongqing 😍 The best time to visit is just before sunset 🌇 so you can capture both daytime and nighttime shots. As the sun ☀️ goes down, the cave-like structures light up with golden neon, creating a scene straight out of a cyberpunk movie. The reflections on the Jialing River make the photos even more stunning ✨ We also walked over to Chaotianmen Dock, where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet. At night 🌙 the city skyline glows beautifully, and we highly recommend taking a river cruise for an incredible perspective of Chongqing’s illuminated skyline 🏙️ 📍88 Jiabin Rd, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, China, 400010 Chongqing’s Liziba Monorail Station is an absolute must for photographers 📸 We arrived early ⛅️ to capture the monorail train passing through a residential building, a sight you won’t see anywhere else! The train emerges from the 6th floor of an apartment complex, making it a truly unique urban shot 🙌 We also visited Eling Park, which offers one of the best panoramic views of Chongqing. We went around 5 PM so we could capture both sunset 🌇 and the city lights turning on. From the observation deck, we got a breathtaking 360-degree view of Chongqing’s mountain-like skyline ⛰️ 📍39 Liziba Zheng St, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, China, 400060 We also stepped back in time at Ciqikou Ancient Town, a well-preserved old town with narrow alleyways, traditional wooden 🪵 buildings, and beautiful hanging lanterns. The best time for photos is in the morning ☀️ before the crowds arrive.
